Bloodline
Being a photographer means finding details in a scene, and sometimes it is the small details that really set off a larger landscape. While this area is exceptionally grand, it seems as though the details of light in the water and in the wet walls are what makes this image. While everyone was walking past this area, I nearly missed it myself, turning around briefly and doing a double-take on how incredible the light was here. Captured in Zion National Park, The Narrows has a way of surprising you around every turn, and amazing you when you look back at things you’ve already passed.
