Captured at the Hidden Lake overlook point in Glacier National Park, Montana. The Hidden Lake overlook area is a place I have been unsuccessfully trying to photograph for all of the years I have been visiting Glacier. Every year I go, it seems that something gets in the way – either the conditions don’t work out, or the trail is closed. This year I spent many evenings in this area, and this particular night I scouted for hours for a sunset composition. Upon finding this scene, we sat down on the edge of the rocky continental divide to relax. We even got a surprise visit from some of the mountain goats that love to walk around this area.
